Sarah M. Torres
Operations Executive • Leadership • Strategy
For more than two decades, I've led teams through change, built trust in demanding environments, and strengthened organizations from the inside out. My goal has never been simply to deliver results—it's to leave every organization stronger than I found it.
Develop People
One of the most rewarding responsibilities of leadership is helping others grow. I invest in coaching, mentoring, and creating opportunities that empower people to reach their full potential.
Lead by Example
I believe credibility is earned by working alongside my team, setting the standard, and demonstrating the values I expect from others.
Leadership Philosophy
Drive Results
Sustainable success is built through strong processes, accountability, and continuous improvement. I create systems that empower people, strengthen organizations, and deliver measurable results. Every improvement is designed to create lasting value.
Leadership is not defined by position—it is earned through service, accountability, and the ability to bring out the very best in others.
The Way I lead
Leadership isn’t about having all of the answers—it’s about asking the right questions, building trust, and helping people accomplish more together. I've learned that the best ideas rarely come from one person. They come from creating an environment where people feel trusted, challenged, and heard. For more than two decades, I've led teams through growth, change, and complex operational challenges. Lasting results come from consistency, accountability, and investing in people.
My Career
A twenty-year journey of building teams, improving operations, and leading through change.
What started as an entry-level opportunity became a twenty-year career leading operations for one of the world's largest logistics companies. I managed teams of up to 90 drivers, multiple supervisors, payroll, safety, dispatch, customer service, and continuous improvement initiatives across several operations.
What's Next
Today, I'm seeking opportunities to help organizations strengthen operations, develop leaders, and build systems that allow people to do their best work.
Why I Left
In 2025, I accepted a company buyout after twenty years with UPS. It gave me the opportunity to step back, focus on recovery, and rediscover the kind of leader—and person—I wanted to become.
That season reminded me that leadership isn't about titles. It's about resilience, growth, and having the courage to begin again.
